Our little company is located in Los Angeles, CA (where it's OK to be a little bit crazy) and we offer the finest in cat toys and really cool backpacks. A strange mix? Yes, indeed! You might be wondering how it came to pass that a company could produce such an eclectic dyad... Well, it started simply enough with a backpack design and an irrepressible love for velvet. The backpack design was patterned, sewn up, and then sold to local stores. My cohort, Platinum, and I decided one day to try our luck selling the backpacks at a local flea market. Everyone loved the design so much that we returned every week to market our wares. So, what do backpacks have to do with cat toys? About the second week of selling at the flea market I decided that we needed more variety at our booth. I have always been an artsy-craftsy sort of person, and I simply love cats, so the obvious conclusion was to sew up some good old-fashioned catnip mice. The first week I made about six and I sold out! I tweaked my pattern just a bit and made twenty mice for the following week. The little critters sold like hot cakes. To make my mice special, I double stitched every mouse and used only the finest quality of catnip. This makes them both durable and intoxicating at the same time! There is no doubt; these little fabric mice are hot, hot, hot! Our company believes in quality, service, and creativity. Our quality control department, Emily, Jane, Zoe, and Nemo, test every product idea before it hits the store shelves. They tell us your feline necessities. Our innovative ideas and product designs are a refreshing change from the ordinary ho-hum stuff that clutters the local pet stores. Unlike most of those chain store items, our products are all made in the USA. "So what," you may say, "the toys made over-seas are cheaper!" While this may be true, many soft goods that are imported into the US must be fumigated to pass through Customs. And, to make matters worse, the catnip inside of the imported cat toys has been treaded with pesticides! Yuk! Bad Kitty Gear cat toys and other products are made with love and care right here in the good ol' U.S. of A. We don't use pesticides, herbicides, toxic dyes, high fructose corn syrup, food coloring, preservatives, lactose, or artificial flavoring in any of our quality products. We stand behind our stuff.
